Thomas Lee, NJ Nest, with 2Win Realty LLC, Real Estate Broker, wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or captions.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test pages with automated tools and by hand, and we fix problems as we find them. The site is a work in progress, and we do not claim that every page meets every guideline.
What we have done
- Every image has a text description.
- A “Skip to content” link appears when you press Tab, so keyboard users can go straight past the menu.
- Moving content on the homepage has a pause button.
- Forms have labels, and text is sized and colored to be readable.
Known limits
- Property search and listing pages are provided by IDX Broker, an outside company. We do not control how those pages are built, but we will help you with anything you cannot do there.
- Podcast videos are hosted on YouTube. They have captions; YouTube controls the video player.
